Throughout the 2019 college football season, the Tournament of Roses and the Rose Bowl Game Football Committee will select players from each partner conference as the Big Ten and Pac-12 Player of the Week.

For their outstanding performances in week 14, Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins and Utah tight end Brant Kuithe were selected by the 15-person committee.

Big Ten Player of the Week
J.K. Dobbins, Ohio State
Jr., RB, La Grange, Texas

  • Ran for 211 yards and four rushing touchdowns in the win over Michigan, 56-27
  • Totaled 260 yards on the day, the most by an Ohio State player in the series history
  • Scored three of his touchdowns in the first half
  • This is Dobbin’s second career Rose Bowl Game Big Ten Player of the Week honor (Week 3, 2019)

Pac-12 Player of the Week
Brant Kuithe, Utah
So., TE, Katy, Texas

  • Scored three touchdowns in the 45-15 win over Colorado
  • Tallied two receiving touchdowns and one rushing touchdown
  • Finished the game with a team-high 122 all-purpose yards
  • This is Kuithe’s first career Rose Bowl Game Pac-12 Player of the Week honor
