Throughout the 2019 college football season, the Tournament of Roses and the Rose Bowl Game Football Committee will select players from each partner conference as the Big Ten and Pac-12 Player of the Week.

For their outstanding performances in week 3, Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins and Washington State quarterback Anthony Gordon were selected by the 15-person committee.

Big Ten Player of the Week
J.K. Dobbins, Ohio State
Jr., RB, La Grange, Texas

  • Ran for 193 yards and scored two touchdowns in a 51-10 win over Indiana
  • Tallied 175 rushing yards in the first half on 20 carries
  • Named co-Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week
  • This is Dobbins’ first Rose Bowl Game Big Ten Player of the Week honor

Pac-12 Player of the Week
Anthony Gordon, Washington State
R-Sr., QB, Pacifica, Calif.

  • Threw for 440 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Houston, 31-24
  • Has now thrown for 400 or more yards in all three starts this season
  • Leads the country in passing yards (1,324) and is tied for the lead in touchdowns (12)
  • This is Gordon’s second Rose Bowl Game Pac-12 Player of the Week honor (Week 1, 2019)
