PASADENA, Ca. (August 3, 2026) – Applications are now open for the 2027 Pasadena Tournament of Roses® Rose Court.
We are excited to continue the treasured legacy of the Rose Court, one that has inspired its members to connect with their communities, give back in meaningful ways, and grow in self-confidence through valuable experiences. These are experiences that will not only enrich their lives but also have a lasting impact on the communities they serve.
The Pasadena Tournament of Roses remains a long-standing supporter of various educational initiatives and is proud to provide each Rose Court member with a $7,500 educational scholarship.
We’re looking for applicants who bring diverse strengths and perspectives — whether they’re natural public speakers, youth leaders, academic stars, or community and school leaders. An applicant isn’t required to have all these skills; the selected Rose Court members will provide a well-rounded group that serves as ambassadors for the Tournament of Roses, the Pasadena community and the greater Los Angeles area.
To be eligible, applicants must live and attend school full time within the Pasadena Area Community College District or one of seven additional eligible zip codes, including Eagle Rock, Highland Park, San Gabriel and Alhambra.

Interested participants are encouraged to visit the website to find answers to frequently asked questions and learn about the benefits of joining the Rose Court.
The first round of Rose Court interviews will take place in Pasadena at Tournament House on Saturday, September 5, and Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
The 2027 Rose Court will ride down Colorado Blvd. in the 138th Rose Parade® presented by Honda and attend the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the 113th Rose Bowl Game presented by Prudential, both on Friday, January 1, 2027.

The Pasadena Tournament of Roses® is a volunteer organization that hosts America’s New Year Celebration® with the Rose Parade® presented by Honda, the Rose Bowl Game® presented by Prudential and a variety of accompanying events. The Association’s 935 Members supply more than 80,000 volunteer hours, which will drive the success of the 138th Rose Parade on Friday, January 1, 2027, followed by the CFP Quarterfinal at the 113th Rose Bowl Game.
