WHERE FLOWERS AND FOOTBALL MEET
For more than 60 years, members of the United States Army Parachute Team, more widely known as the Golden Knights, have been marking milestones of achievement and exc ellence serving as the “Ambassadors of the Army.” Dropping out of the sky and onto the parade route, the Golden Knights will parachute down to do a live football toss from the Parade route to the Rose Bowl Stadium to kick off the 108th Rose Bowl Game festivities. Catching the toss, with the help of some “Wizarding World” magic, will be special guests from the upcoming special, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts. The retrospective special—premiering Jan. 1 on HBO Max— is celebrating 20 years since the release of the franchise’s first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, and will feature interviews and cast conversations.
