(May 6, 2021) – As the Pasadena Tournament of Roses® and our community partners prepare for the return of the Rose Parade® presented by Honda on January 1, 2022, we are excited to offer the first in a series of sneak previews of floral float entries that will inspire and charm our worldwide audience on New Year’s Day.
PASADENA, Calif. (March 18, 2021) – The Pasadena Tournament of Roses® is pleased to announce the 20 bands that will march in the Rose Parade® on January 1, 2022. The 2022 parade will feature participants originally slated for the 2021 parade. Bands have kicked off their fundraising activities and continue to receive community support for their trip to the 133rd Rose Parade presented by Honda, themed “Dream. Believe. Achieve.”

PASADENA, Calif. (March 2, 2021) – The Pasadena Tournament of Roses® unveiled an official Little Free Library® in celebration of Read Across America Day. The replica of Tournament House, the headquarters to the Rose Parade® and Rose Bowl Game®, is filled with books for the community to enjoy and provides a space for book-sharing.
PASADENA, Calif. (Feb. 1, 2021) – The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2021 grant program. The grants support new and ongoing programs benefiting children, teens, adults, and seniors. Since its inception in 1983, the Foundation has invested more than $3 million into the community by supporting 200+ Pasadena-area organizations. The grant awards in 2020 exceeded $140,000, which funded 16 organizations in the San Gabriel Valley.

PASADENA TOURNAMENT OF ROSES KICKS OFF BOOK DONATION TO LOCAL NON-PROFITS IN HONOR OF MLK AND NATIONAL DAY OF SERVICE
PASADENA, Calif. (Jan. 18, 2021) – Today, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses honored the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by participating in the National Day of Service. A handful of Tournament of Roses’ 935 volunteer members gathered at Tournament House to kick off our distribution of books to students of Pasadena. Working with our partner Literati, the premier children’s book subscription service in the U.S., the Tournament of Roses is working to get 10,000 books into the hands of local children (ages 5-12).
PASADENA, Calif. (Dec. 21, 2020) – Today, Kermit the Frog was announced as the celebrity conductor in the “Rose Parade’s New Year Celebration presented by Honda.” Kermit will lead the virtual performance showcasing seniors in high school and college. The world’s most famous amphibian and international film and television star is no stranger to the Rose Parade®; in 1996 Kermit road down Colorado Blvd. as Grand Marshal.

Today the Pasadena Tournament of Roses® announced the nine featured segments appearing in “The Rose Parade’s New Year Celebration presented by Honda.” Each segment will spotlight award-winning float participants and sponsors, their Rose Parade legacy and their commitment to the community. Some have been Rose Parade mainstays for decades, while others are just getting started on the annual procession down Colorado Boulevard.
