PASADENA, Calif. (Oct. 1, 2020) – Today, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses® announced our first-ever Dia de los Muertos art competition, a celebration of art. In partnership with; Concamin, EWomenMX, Mexican Consulate in Los Angeles and the RoybalFoundation, we will award scholarships and gift cards in three age categories; 4-8, 9-13 and 14-18.

PASADENA, Calif. (July 9, 2020) – The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Foundation announces 2020-2021 Board of Directors and new officers. Since its inception in 1983, the Pasadena Tournament of Foundation has invested over $3 million in more than 200 Pasadena area organizations.
PASADENA, Calif. (June 18, 2020) – The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Foundation is proud to announce its 2020 grant awards totaling over $140,000 presented to 16 organizations in the San Gabriel Valley. These grants will support new and ongoing programs benefiting children, teens, adults and seniors. Due to COVID-19, many of the grant recipients were able to adjust their service approach to comply with physical distancing, while others pivoted their programming to meet community needs related to the pandemic.
We are heartbroken about the tragedy that is enveloping our country following the senseless deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and too many others, as well as the systemic racism that has long fueled it. To our community – we recognize your pain, frustration and fatigue over the horrible injustices faced by Black people for far too long.
PASADENA, Calif. (May 28, 2020) – Today, the Tournament of Roses® hosted the first-ever virtual Rosebud Parade, featuring homemade floats. While our staff and volunteer members are diligently working on the 2021 Rose Parade® presented by Honda, we thought we’d have a little joy along the way.
PASADENA, Calif. (May 4, 2020) –The Pasadena Tournament of Roses® announced today a $100,000 donation in support of local COVID-19 relief efforts in the Pasadena community. All funds will go to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank (LARFB), the largest food provider and distributor to food banks and pantries across the County of Los Angeles. Specifically, the Tournament’s donation will be used to support the nine Pasadena food providers affiliated with the Food Bank. Working through their local providers, the Food Bank is able to provide four meals for every $1 donated. The Pasadena partner agencies provide food to anyone in need and include Foothill Unity Center, Friends In Deed, The Salvation Army and others.
