MAYOR OF PASADENA – VICTOR GORDO
Mayor Victor Gordo and his family will ride down the parade route in a 1907 Autocar Bus. The bus was custom-built and used to haul passengers up to Pike's Peak Hotel in Colorado and required the special ability to drive up steep hills. Because of its unique needs, it has a top speed of only 18 MPH, a two-cylinder engine and a 600 cubic inch chain drive. The vehicle was found on the East Coast in 1980 and restored over six years by the owner's father. The Bus has been featured in many movies including "Titanic" and "Around the World in 80 Days".

PASADENA TOURNAMENT OF ROSES PRESIDENT - AMY WAINSCOTT
The Pasadena Tournament of Roses President Amy Wainscott is riding in a 1935 Packard Eight Phaeton. Detroit-based Packard achieved a worldwide reputation for style and quality, one of the few American automakers to offer traditional open models, without roll-up side windows. The new 1935 Packard Eight is described in the Gateway to Ownership Catalog as a new sculptured beauty, mechanical perfection in motor and chassis, and new luxury comfort in body and fittings. Designed by Dietrich Inc. of Detroit by Raymond Dietrich who founded the company in 1925.

PASADENA TOURNAMENT OF ROSES - PRESIDENT'S FAMILY
The family of Pasadena Tournament of Roses President Amy Wainscott are riding with the Express Clydesdales, an eight-horse hitch of rare black and white colored Clydesdales, pulling a beautifully, handcrafted replica of an 1880 Abbott Downing Hotel Coach. The Express coach is capable of seating 24 people, weighs over 4,000 pounds and is 12 feet high. With their English leather show harnesses and silver and chrome trim, these horses weigh an average of 2000 lbs. each and stand over six feet tall. These exquisite teams have appeared in many notable North American events including the Calgary Stampede, where the Express Clydesdales were chosen to drive the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

TOURNAMENT OF ROSES GRAND MARSHAL - GABBY GIFFORDS
The 2023 Rose Parade Grand Marshal Gabby Giffords rides down the Parade route in a 1911 Rambler model 65 Seven Person Brass Era Touring car. A very rare vehicle, even in 1911, it is the only known surviving Rambler model 65, the largest rambler made. This gleaming touring car is truly a sight to behold, it is 100 percent original but restored, including the original license plate. This striking Rambler was originally equipped with massive tires necessary for traveling the heavily rutted rural Texas roads of its day. The vehicle sold for more than $3,000 in 1911 and became known as one of the most luxurious cars built in America. They were recognized by the slogan “The Comfort of the Parlor and the Speed of the Express Train.”
