The Tournament of Roses has been “America’s New Year Celebration” for more than a century. Each New Year’s since 1890, the world has come to Pasadena. Today, a multitude of spectators line the streets and millions of television viewers around the world tune in to enjoy the pageantry of the floats, the majesty of the equestrians and the excitement of the bands in the Rose Parade.
This is followed by “The Granddaddy of Them All” – the Rose Bowl Game – a showcase of the best post-season collegiate football in front of more than 90,000 cheering fans in the historic Rose Bowl stadium.
